BE THE HOPE
for Afghanistan’s Displaced

Join us in raising 1 million USD to support 1,000 local businesses, creating thousands of local jobs for the displaced Afghans.

HERE IS THE IMPACT WE WANT TO MAKE

Our Vision

Establish 1,000 local businesses

Afghanistan faces a crisis with over 6 million internally displaced persons due to conflict, natural disasters, and forced returns. Since September 2023, half a million Afghans have returned from Pakistan, with 900K more expected by December 2024, but most lack the means to rebuild their lives.

Through our campaign, you can empower thousands of displaced and returnee Afghans, mainly women and girls, youth and persons with disabilities, by helping them to create creative, locally owned solutions, to start small businesses, and to rebuild their lives and communities.

AND HERE IS HOW WE PLAN TO ACHIEVE IT

Local challenges need local solutions through local businesses.

STEP 1

Local community members meet to discuss and identify the key local challenges and priorities.

STEP 2

Based on challenges and priorities identified, the community members develop proposals for small businesses that can not only solve their challenges but also that themselves can run and manage.

STEP 3

Expert panel will review and select proposals that that demonstrate innovative and viable business ideas, have a strong potential for success, and address specific local challenges faced by displaced communities which will be supported by STFA

STEP 4

Local challenges that needed local solutions becomes local businesses creating thousands of local jobs and support hundreds of thousands Afghans.

  • GRANT

Depending on the type of business and the need, select proposals will receive 500-1,500 USD grant.
